BU/ENT 280 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Credits: 3

This course provides the student with the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, covering the process from idea generation to opportunity conception to harvest of the new venture. It concentrates on identifying the attributes of entrepreneurs, the process of opportunities recognition and evaluation, business plan creation, financing, starting and operating the new venture. The students will work in teams to write a business plan for a new venture that they have conceived.
