It includes a 12-credit hour specialty endorsement in gifted studies, 12-credit hours of literacy instruction, 12 credit hours of special education instruction, and two 3-credit hour research courses, totaling 30 credit hours. This program aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the diverse needs of students with disabilities, multiple Exceptionalities, and giftedness in educational settings.

The Master of Education program offers an opportunity to enhance advanced pedagogical and research skills. Completing this degree will elevate a Mississippi teaching license to Class AA and provide graduates with add-on endorsements 207 in Gifted (Grades K-12) and 221 in Special Education (Mild/Moderate Disability) (K-12).
