ED 548 - Teaching in the Inclusion ClassroomCredits: 3
Prerequisite: ED 538
This course provides an overview of teaching in an inclusion classroom that meets the needs of students with disabilities in the general education setting. Graduate students will explore factors that influence the academic achievement of these students and highlight best practices, inclusive teaching practices, and differentiated instruction. Emphasis is place on co-teaching between general education and special education teachers.
Note: This course requires students to conduct related practices in their school or specified field setting.
