ED 548 - Teaching in the Inclusion Classroom

Credits: 3

Prerequisite: ED 538  

This course provides an overview of teaching in an inclusion classroom that meets the needs of students with disabilities, multiple exceptionalities, and gifted in the general education setting. Graduate students will explore factors that influence the academic achievement of these students and highlight best practices, inclusive teaching practices, ad differentiated instruction. Emphasis is placed on co-teaching between general education and special education teachers.

Note: This course requires students to conduct related practices in their own school or specified field setting.
