ED 564 - Diagnosing and Assessing Reading Difficulties in Children

Credits: 3

Prerequisite: ED 527 , ED 523 , ED 524  

The purpose of this course is to provide graduate students with a strong knowledge base of various assessment methods and to develop instructional intervention strategies for teaching reading. Graduate students will be expected to demonstrate the application of assessment methods; analyze data and plan instruction for reading intervention strategies during the implementation of a Tier II Reading Intervention Case Study.

Note: This course requires students to conduct related practice in their own school or specified field settings.
