It includes a 12-credit hour specialty endorsement in gifted studies, a 12-credit hour specialty endorsement in special education, and two 3-credit hour research courses, totaling 30 credit hours. This program aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the diverse needs of students with disabilities, multiple exceptionalities, and giftedness in educational settings.

This program is designed for professional teachers who are already certified. The Master of Education program offers an opportunity to enhance advanced pedagogical and research skills. Completing this degree will elevate a Mississippi teaching license to Class AA and provide graduates with an Add-on Endorsement 207, Gifted Studies (Grades K-12), and Add-On Endorsement 221, Special Education (mild/Moderately Disabled) (Grades K-12).
