PSY 449 - Practicum in PsychologyCredits: 1-3
Prerequisite: Approval of the Department Chair of Psychology and Family Science and practicum coordinator and PSY 201
The practicum experience provides the opportunity for a student to learn about teaching, research, or service aspects of the field of psychology. Students participate in a variety of learning activities designed to provide hands-on experience. Students may serve as practicum assistants in an introductory psychology course, in a faculty member’s research lab, in a human services agency, or at another approved practicum site.
Note: Can be repeated for up to 6 hours.
