5.1 FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Mississippi University for Women students considering costs for the next academic semester should remember that full payment of tuition, textbook, course fees and room & board (minus anticipated financial aid and/or scholarships) is required by September 14, 2024 and February 14, 2025 depending on the semester you’re enrolled in. Students may make one lump sum payment each term directly to Mississippi University for Women or enroll in an interest -free payment plan by the payment due dates. Failure to do so will result in a $150 late payment fee. Additionally, students who have not fulfilled their obligations to the University may not register for classes until their account has been paid
It is your responsibility to ensure financial aid has been accepted and/or third-party payments that are expected to cover any charges or fees are properly noted and paid to your student account before the payment due date for the term. Failure to pay all outstanding tuition and fees by the payment due date for the term will result in $150 late payment fee. Contact University Accounting if you have MPACT, other prepaid tuition or any other Outside Scholarship that we will need to invoice for to obtain your funds.
Students are encouraged to look at their student account periodically; throughout the semester to verify their account balance.
Regardless of whether or not you’re making an online payment or signing up for a payment plan, students should go on to their student account to consent to an electronic 1098T.
