MGT 600 - Strategies and Business Models

Credits: 3

The course consists of a substantial project with a business or non-profit organization seeking creative solutions to challenges they face. The course aims to provide hands-on experience in tackling real-world business problems in a dynamic environment. Working in groups, students will design, conduct, and manage every aspect of a project that addresses a specific business problem for the chosen company. Students will apply advanced analysis to identify opportunities and offer firm-level strategic solutions. Projects may cover a broad spectrum of topics, including: finance, accounting, marketing, management, human resource management, operations/production, and information technology. Students must identify and obtain approval for an organization/project of interest with the instructor of the course.
