An overview of the history, purpose, and distinguishing features of workforce development across the world with an emphasis on the United States. Students will explore the evolution of workforce education within the broader context of workforce development, its importance in the business and educational landscape, and its unique role in preparing all levels of students from high school to adult learners for successful careers while gaining essential skills to be effective workforce educators at various levels.
