HED 597 - Capstone Service Project in Health Education

Credits: 6

Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed the Core Courses and the Additional Requirement Courses.
This course is designed to be Applied Practice Experience (APE), provide a culminating, highly interactive experience for students, and allow for the synthesis and application of public health concepts to a health education project. The student will work with the supervisory faculty and an outside practice partner. Activities for this service project should mutually benefit both the practice partner and the student. Before enrolling in HED 597, the student must seek and receive approval from supervisory faculty.
