ED 555 - Ethical and Legal Practices in Special Education

Credits: 3

Prerequisite: ED 538  
This course provides an analysis of legislation, litigation, and administrative rulings related to special education. Emphasis is placed on the development of legally sound policies and procedures to ensure that schools provide an education that is appropriate and that upholds the related laws for students with disabilities.
Note: This course requires students to conduct related practices in their school or specified field setting.
