ED 410 - Teaching Social Studies in Elementary and Middle Schools

Credits: 3

Prerequisite: ED 302  and admission to Teacher Education Prerequisite/Corequisite: ED 405 , ED 412 , ED 434 , and ED 435  
This course focuses on the preparation of pre-service teachers to translate knowledge and data gathering processes from history and the social sciences into appropriate and meaningful social studies experiences for students.
Note: Minimum grade of C is required for this course. This course can only be taken twice.
