FSC 295 - Perspectives on Child Maltreatment and Advocacy

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or higher

This course is the introductory course for the child advocacy, and covers the history of child advocacy, comparative perspectives on child advocacy (international issues, including sex trafficking), the legal framework of child advocacy, responses to child maltreatment, and the skills necessary to work in child maltreatment.
