Playwrights covered may include Susan Glaspell, Alice Gerstenberg, Eugene O’Neill, Lillian Hellman, Thornton Wilder, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, Edward Albee, Neil Simon, David Mamet, Sam Shepherd, Beth Henley, Terrence McNally, Tina Howe, and others. The emphasis will be on literary scholarship and interpretation.
