PLG 395 - Legal System Response to Child Maltreatment

Credits: 3

This course focuses on the responses of legal professionals to allegations of child maltreatment. The purpose of this course is to expand the student’s knowledge and skills in identifying, investigating, and navigating through the legal system response to child maltreatment. Students will receive competency-based skills training such as interviewing, document drafting, assisting in witness preparation, etc. This is a Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) course.
