ED 614L - Leadership Internship: Leadership through Building a Culture of Professionalism

Credits: 1

Prerequisite/Corequisite: ED 614
This course is a school based internship, emphasizing the elementary, middle, and/or high school.  Students will complete structured hands-on assignments.  Participants will work under the direction of a mentor in a school setting to complete assignments.  The course is designed to include a minimum of 80 hours of work, with a minimum of approximately 60 hours to be completed on-site. This course focuses on the need for school leaders to expand their professional roles as leaders, researchers, scholars, and advocates. Candidates will learn and practice the skills needed to become effective leaders and change agents in the educational community.
